A Snapper Up of Unconsidered Trifles A Tribute to Barbara Jones

£25.00

Product description

This hard cover book is in very good condition overall. On the cover there are no issues except a minor mark or two. The jacket is also in very good condition, though it has some very minor fraying on some corners and edges. Inside, the pages of the book appear to have no real issues, with both the written and photograph pages being clear and nice to look at.

A tribute to artist Barbara Jones, the book describes her as the following:

'Barbara Jones was a 'jobbing' artist par excellence. As long as her brief gave her enough freedom to express her own ideas she was prepared to turn her hand to making murals, designing exhibition displays, painting topographical water-colours, creating dust jackets etc. She was supremely confident whether designing a Lord Mayor's Show, a Stand at the Festival of Britain, or water-colours for Recording Britain.'
