Cover, in dark blue boards with gilt titling to spine and front, is in excellent / almost new condition. Internally the book is in very good / excellent condition with just a trace of a mark on last page and small, faint mark on page block edge. The pictorial dustjacket is in very good condition with just the lightest trace of shelfwear to top edge. 'Tim Coates uses contemporary and historic paintings, photographs, maps and portraits to tell the story of Aldeburgh - through Roman occupation, medieval maritime trading links to the prosperous Tudor era ... to the development of the town as an upmarket holiday resort'. A sumptuous volume, profusely illustrated.
