Product description

Publisher: A. Siegle, Langham Place, London, 1904. Hardback, small format, 72 pages illustrated with b & w plates, some tipped-in. Includes list of Rodin's principal works. No dustjacket. Cover, in greay cloth boards with black titling and design to front and spine, is in fair condition with a little fraying and browning to spine edges which has not significantly affected the firmness of the binding. The book itself is in decent condition for its 112 years (published 1904) with foxing to endpapers, front flyleaf and title page. Binding is reasonably tight and text and illustration pages are in generally decent order with just a small crease on top corner of page 17/18 and some very light foxing marks here and there. Inscription in pen on front endpaper dated Xmas 1904. Overall a useful and fascinating little monograph with a number of lovely photographic illustrations, with a tipped-in frontispiece and one other, mounted on thick green card paper.
