Naval Architecture

£9.99

Product description

This hardcover book is in good condition overall. The cover of the book has noticeable markings on both sides, as some slight wear to the edges and corners. The dust jacket has similar issues with markings and fraying, and it also has a noticeable issue of foxing on the inside. The original price is still included in the jacket and has not been cut. The edges of the pages also have an issue with foxing, though it does not appear to extend to the inside of the pages in the vast majority of cases. On the whole the inside of the pages are without major, if any issue.

'In this book the writer has tried to introduce most of the important branches of Naval Architecture, and, in addition to the basic principles, has included more advanced work with the intention of stimulating the reader to further study of some of the books listed in the Bibliography. The book is intended for those who require a sound initial knowledge of the subject, and it is hoped that it will be particularly useful to students and apprentices who need some theoretical knowledge to amplify and perhaps enlighten their practical work.'
