Publisher: B.T. Batsford, London, 1946 edition with additional illustrations. Hardback with dustjacket, 55 pages plus 64 plates in colour and b&w. Cover, in pink cloth boards with blure titling to spine and front, is in good condition commensurate with age with a little fading, minor bumping to spine extremities and a little shelfwear to edges. Internally the book is in good condition commensurate with age with firm binding, generally clean and bright text pages and illustrations and no tears, inscriptions marks or creases. The pictorial dustjacket is in generally sound condition with some foxing spots to front and rear flaps, some shelfwear to edges, a one inch tear at top of spine and some creasing/fraying to top edges and a very small tear on bottom edge and a very small tear at bottom of front and rear flaps. A brilliant and famous study of Picasso and a classic of art criticism with 64 plates many in colour
