Sir William Russell Flint, R.A., P.P.R.W.S

£39.99

Product description

This title reproduces a wide range of work from the Victorian Scottish watercolour painter, Sir William Russell Flint. It also includes text which deals with the paradoxes of the artist's life and work. This book highlights just what a versatile artist Russell Flint was with works from a large number of genres and in a number of different media. There are the usual semi-nude beautiful maidens, but much, much more.

David and Charles Hardback in very good condition with firm binding and no marks. There is, however, a problem. There is no DJ with our book; illustrations of other items for sale show "From Capri Cliff" presumably as a DJ. Our book has a somewhat odd collage on the front; the individual areas have been very accurately cut and very carefully tipped into a depressed area on the outside of the front cover which, presumably, had initially the Capri painting reproduction. In the light of this oddity I have priced the book conservatively. The illustrations and text are pristine.
