Held from Nov 28, 1960 to Jan 14, 1961, this is the catalogue to the last official International Surrealist Exhibition, organized by Andre Breton with the collaboration of Marcel Duchamp, who also assisted in the installation and design of the catalogue. It contains over 70 b/w illustrations, accompanied by explanatory text and a short essay on 'Surrealism, Jackson Pollock and Lyric-Abstraction' by Jose Pierre. Among the most collectible of all surrealist exhibition catalogues. Contains insert with list of catalogue items.
