Tate Modern - The Handbook

£9.99

Product description

Condition as new except for a crease in the cover.

Published to accompany the opening of the major new extension to Tate Modern in the summer of 2016, this book discusses the history of the collection and the current ethos for acquiring works, offering intriguing insight into the considerations involved in building and shaping a national collection. With more than 300 illustrations, the book features some of the Tate's most popular works, including Matisse's The Snail, Rothko's Seagram Murals, DalL's Lobster Telephone, as well as recent acquisitions by important artists such as Ai Weiwei and Abraham Cruzvillegas. More than simply a guide to one of the most important museums in its field, the book is also an invaluable tool for understanding modern art and artists.

Oxfam Bookshop Bath

The Bath Oxfam Books and Music shop has been open since 2001. We stock a wide selection of books, vinyl, cds and dvds but always welcome donations to keep our shelves full and interesting. Following our shop refit in 2009 we have a modern, bright and spacious interior where customers are welcome to browse at their leisure. We do not specialise in any one area but often seem to do particularly well with History books and Vinyl. Thanks to the wonderful donations we receive on a daily basis through the door, and from our local Book Banks, we offer our customers a fantastic range of stock both in the shop and online. Please come and see for yourselves!
