The Derbyshire Country House has now been updated to reflect new research. It includes many new photographs, and an additional 150 houses have been added in gazetteer form.

First published in 1991, this edition has now been updated as a result of subsequent research. Many of the photographs have been replaced and an additional 150 houses have been added in gazetteer form. Each entry of the main section provides, where relevant, history of the estate from Doomsday, an account of the house, interior, outbuildings, gardens etc.

Red boards with inlaid gold title to spine. Illustrated with black and white photographs. Foreword by the Duchess of Devonshire. Size approximately 21x30cm.

Very good close to fine condition book. Unclipped dust wrapper has very minor shelf wear.

Oxfam Books & Music Belper

The Oxfam Books and Music shop in Belper is opposite the Ritz Cinema on the lively and varied King Street. We are just a short walk from the bus and railway stations and from ample free parking at The Coppice (through the Market Square).

The shop has been newly fitted out and is light and spacious - the perfect place to browse our book and music sections. Our extensive book stock covers everything from fiction to specialist. The music section caters for all tastes and includes vinyl, CDs and sheet music. We also stock DVDs.

Everything we sell is donated by the generous people of Belper and the surrounding area. We are always looking for new stock and your donations would be welcome.
