Published c1910 by George Newnes Limited. Brown board hard covers with cream cloth reinforced spine. "Newnes Art Library" lettering and motif in dark brown to the front and gilt lettering and design to the spine. The boards and spine are marked and scuffed from use. All edges show wear and the corners are bumped and worn. Paste seepage to the front and rear end papers. Notable foxing to the front end pages and frontispiece with light foxing to the closed edges. The text (16 pages) and black and white illustrations (64 inc. frontispiece) are, apart from the latter mentioned, on glossy paper and remain clean and tightly bound. No inscriptions and no dust jacket.
