Wonderfully illustrated history of the three Parisian fashion houses of Worth, Doucet and Pingat in the late nineteenth century, with period illustrations and colour plates of surviving outfits.
Ex-library, with expected stamps and stickers, end-paper half removed. Softback with illustrations to front and rear, text in black to spine. Shelf and edge wear, with corners and head/tail of spine somewhat worn, small split to head of spine. Some creasing to covers, library stickers to base of spine (torn/removed), back cover and contents page. Library stamps to text block edge and title page. Interior generally good, but with black marking from illustrations to facing pages, colour plates all clean and bright. A good copy of this rare and beautifully illustrated title.
