The Penrose Annual was the world's leading review of Graphic Arts published in most years between 1895 - 1982. This substantial 1966 volume was edited by Herbert Spencer and contains 28 articles by many experts in fields as diverse as "Are consumer magazines a 'good buy'?", "Progress in new colour process inks" and "Margins in the manuscript and printed book". There are over 300 pages and approximately 200 illustrations. Includes indices in 5 languages, and a section on advertisements. Dust jacket present although damaged along edges with several open tears, up to approx 1.5cm, and one missing area on the top right of the back cover approx. 8cm wide x 2.2cm. deep. The book is bound in black and has light colour wear on corners and spine ends; minor bumping on lower front edge; small area of slight surface wear on the front. Slight dust soiling to text block edges. Inside pages are clean, with some having slight edge-tanning.
