Threads of Thought - Keren Ronnen Rosenberg

£17.99

Product description

Keren Ronnen Rosenberg's work combined individual research of classic weaving techniques, ongoing acquaintance with technological developments , and interest in innovative compounds of materials brought together in the fabric texture. Textile is the agent of a rigorous examination of materials and intimate encounter with them. Her fabrics came into being in the progression of from sights recorded by the eye, through abstract graphic sketches of these sights and their translation into material form, to the final expression of images transmuted by the creative process and captured in the fabric texture. This book is an attempt to present the process of the coming into being of a visual thought, and its metamorphosis from the virtual to the material; to document a rich visual world and a great love of Art. The book is written in both Hebrew and English.
