Zao Wou-Ki 1935 - 2008

£95.00

Product description

This large, impressive book, is a chronological record of the work of the Chinese-French artist Zao Woud-Ki between 1935 when he was 15 and in China and 2008, five years before his death. By this time he had an international reputation and had spent time in various parts of the world but with Paris as his main anchor.
There are some 32 pages of commentary by de Villepin, followed by copious colour illustrations of the works divided into three time frames - 1935-54/1955-78/1975-08. The book is rounded off with a series of factual commentaries - exhibitions, Books, Biography and criticism. The entire text is solely in French.
Flammarion hardback with no DJ. Glossy cover. No marks and good binding.
A stunning book here in "as new" condition. The only difficulty is that it is a large heavy book which will, necessarily, incur additional transport costs.
