When Peter Cook passed away in January 1995, it was at a time, when the Laughing Stock audiobook company, were in the process of compiling a definitive album of his works.

This is a genuine tribute to Peter, deigned to give the maximum pleasure to everyone, whether they are seasoned fans of Cook, or newcomers to his comic genius. It includes extracts from 'Beyond the Fringe', 'Pete & Dud', & 'E L Wisty', plus live performances of 'Tarzan' & 'Miner', to the famous summing-up by the trial judge, and also collaborations with John Cleese, Rowan Atkinson, Jonathan Miller, Alan Bennett and Eleanor Bron.
