John Stuart Mill, (1806 – 1873) was a British philosopher, political economist and civil servant. He was an influential contributor to social theory, political theory, and political economy. Mill was also a Member of Parliament and an important figure in liberal political philosophy.The book has a preface by Harold J Laski and forms part of the World's Classic series.
The condition of the book is sound, with small white marks on the spine, a previous owner's name on the fly-leaf, and otherwise in excellent condition.
