As the title suggests, this is a wide-ranging review, serious and light-hearted, of Michael's life, with chapters on school, university, National Service and opera in Vienna, Croda and the many cars he has owned. The kernel of the book is the insider's view of Warburgs, the famous merchant bank, with tales of its founding directors and of the ups and downs of its history.
This is no run-of-the-mill set of memoirs, but a witty, provocative and prejudiced selection of topics and events in a fulfilling and challenging life, all presented with a sharp eye and tolerant humanity.
Book condition is very good. Pages are clean and bright. Signed.
