A collection of writings by numerous notables of the time, including A J Ayer, Chaim Herzog and Harold Wilson, drawn together by David Pryce-Jones to celebrate the 70th birthday of the famous publisher George Weidenfeld.
This copy is part of a donation of specimen books from the publisher's library.
It was privately published in 1989 in a limited edition of 200 copies. There is no copy number.
The dustjacket has light shelf wear and the publisher's library sticker on the bottom of the spine. The hardback cover is in good condition apart from some bumping damage bottom right of the front cover. The binding is sound. The pages are clean and unmarked apart from the publisher's library number on the front end paper, library stamp on the title page and on the edge of the pages.
