Killers All!

£6.99

Product description

"Literally translated, Commander Gatti's named means 'cats', but that does not imply that he has only nine lives. Nine lives are already behind him: nine times death has tried to snatch him from this world. But he is still alive, still eager for adventure.

Here are the highlights of this explorer's career. Here is the true story of spectacular hairbreadth escapes from giant gorillas, crocodiles, miracle-working witch doctors, from three hundred tons of stampeding buffaloes ...

Primarily this is a book of swift action, fortitude and courage. At the same time it gives scores of vivid pictures of native life in regions ranging from the Sahara to the primeval forests of the Congo and the bleak uplands of Rhodesia. A voluminous selection of remarkable original photographs substantiate the accuracy of the text."

Pages are in very good condition. Page edges are however stained badly. Red hardback cover is in very good condition, but with a little dirt at the edges. Dust cover is in poor condition, with tearing and a piece missing at the back.
