Midstream my later life

£19.99

Product description

The continuing story of the life of Helen Keller, leading on from her earlier book, 'The Story of my Life.'

The book is dated 1929, though there is no mention of edition.

Hard back book with dust jacket. The jacket is in good condition considering its age. There are some marks on the spine and a few tears, and is price clipped, but generally it is intact. The book is bound in blue boards with gold lettering on the spine. On the front endpaper there is an Xmas gift inscription and an embossed stamp - 'Bryn Awel, Llanwrst. Opposite the first page of the Foreword, a newspaper cutting has been stuck, showing a picture of Miss Keller after she has received the honorary Degree of Doctor of Laws at Glasgow University in 1932. There are also another couple of newspaper cutting included with the book, thought these are loose. There is some underlining of sentences and some annotations in page margins, all in pencil. Apart from these the pages are in very good condition.
