Spine lightly soiled and minor wear and bumping to top and bottom. Panels slightly rubbed, corners lightly bumped. Black end papers, very minor tearing to top quarter of front hinge paper and front hinge paper neatly split. Neat ink ownership inscription at top of title page in black ink. The interior is in very good condition for its age.

Also inscription in red ink on title page: 'This book was first read in 1980, when the pages were cut', initialled and dated 7/12/80.
