Rupert Brooke and the Old Vicarage, Grantchester

£6.99

Product description

A short book written to locate the house in space and time, and to illuminate the circumstances in which Rupert Brooke wrote his most famous poem. Tucked into the book are two pamphlets, one being an illustrated "typescript" of the poem, the other being a leaflet produced in 1977 by the then Vicar of Grantchester.
The false title page has a beautifully written dedication "For Auntie Edith Dec. 1990. With much love from Katie, Michael, Vanda & Guy."
Below the title it has been signed by the author, Mary Archer.
Although the rear glossy, laminated cover has been slightly sunned on the lower edge, also bumped at the top edge, the book is tightly bound, clean and in excellent condition.
