This work consists of three volumes, only volumes 2 and 3 present. Vol. 2: 33-438,  p. (last leaf blank), Vol. 3: , 380, xl p. Pages 1-32 of volume 2 missing. Both volumes in full leather binding with raised bands to spine in good condition with edgewear and slight scratching and rubbing, both worn at hinge with spine exposing the underneath. Spines slightly brittle. Spine of volume 2 has perpendicular crack of 17 cm. Cover of volume 3 has light staining at bottom (4 c 6 cm). Spines decoratively tooled in gilt, titles rubbed off. Marbled endpapers in blue, green, red and yellow. Text block broken between p. 192-207 in volume 2, and has some tanning. Greasemark on p. 33 of v.2 (2 cm).Text block sound and in very good condition (v.3), with some tanning. Edges of both volumes slightly grubby as expected with age. Printed marginalia i both volumes; index at the end of v. 3.
