The Letters of Sean O'Casey, volumes I - IV

£34.99

Product description

The letters of Sean O'Casey in four volumes. An unguarded self-portrait of the great twentieth-century dramatist. Sean O'Casey's private and public correspondence illuminates his life and work in all its extravagance of outrage and genius. The legend of the man that grows out of these uninhibited letters rivals any charter O'Casey ever created for the stage.

Four hard back books with dust jackets.

Volume I 1910-1941 - There is a piece torn from the front cover of the dust jacket and a pencil inscription (pictured) in the front of the book. Published by Macmillan Publishing, 1975, 972 pages.

Volume II 1942-1954 - There are minor tears in the dust jacket and two spots on the page edges. Published by Macmillan Publishing, 1980, 1,200 pages.

Volume III 1955-1958 - No damage to the book or jacket. Published by the Catholic University of America Press, 1989, 688 pages.

Volume IV 1959-64 - No damage to the book or jacket. Published by the Catholic University of America Press, 1992, 610 pages.

All four books and jackets are in very good condition, except for where noted above.
