Brain Damage Claims: Coping with neuropsychological evidence - Volume 1

£50.00

Product description

The last decade has witnessed a rapid growth, if not explosion, in brain damage cases, and in particular claims of mild or "subtle" brain damage. Cases of this type have introduced a new player to the legal arena - the neuropsychologist. This book focuses on this new player and the emerging field of neuropsychology. It is our contention that despite the increasing use of neuropsychologists, the many flaws and limitations of neeuropsychological evidence render it of doubtful value in legal fact-finding.
There is also an added booklet .
Preface to addendum
A book the Length of Brain Damage Claims takes some time to prepare, and during that time the flow of scientific and professional literature does not cease, particularly in as active a field as neuropsychology. This addendum is intended to update readers on developments in the field that occurred during the preparation of the main text, up to and including all of 1990.

Condition: fine, slight markings to front and back cover, slight markings to foredges. Interior pages are crisp and clean with a tight binding.
