Destination Benchmarking: Concepts, Practices and Operations

£14.99

Product description

Benchmarking is an established tool for quality improvement in certain industries, but benchmarking in tourism businesses and tourism destinations has not been widely investigated. The aim of this book is to evaluate different approaches to benchmarking , and their application within tourism destinations. The book considers organisation benchmarking - performance evaluation of a particular organisation and its departments - and destination benchmarking, which involves elements such as transport services, airport services, accommodation, leisure and sport, hospitality and local attitudes. The focus is on developing a specific benchmarking methodology that is relevant in the context of international tourism destinations.

The book is in very good condition. The pages are very clean and without inscriptions or underlining except for slight marking to FFEP where previous pencilled price has been erased. No dustwrapper.

Oxfam Books & Music Jesmond

We are a specialist shop nestled in the heart of Jesmond, a lovely residential area of Newcastle Upon Tyne. We opened in July 2010 and have on offer 5,000 books, 2,000 records, CDs and games as well as sheet music, cards and stationery within the shop. Our shop has high ceilings and a nice, bright and airy feel. We are gaining a very good reputation in the Rare and Collectable books and vinyl community, but also do a roaring trade in contemporary fiction and modern non-fiction. We also organise live music and book events and aim to be a hub of culture in this wonderfully tight-knit community.
