Police Law - War Edition (Seventh)

£12.99

Product description

Subtitled as: "An Arrangement of Law and Regulations for the Use of Police Officers)". The book has dark blue cloth-covered boards and spine with the book title and author's name in silver print on the front. The spine, which has faded due to shelf storage, has the same information plus the publisher's name and logo, also in silver print. The corners show bumping and wear and there is significant shelf wear at the spine. The endpapers are well-glued to the boards and generally well-stitched to the spine although there are signs of tearing away from the spine at both the front and rear endpapers. At the front free endpaper there is the name and address of, presumably a previous owner, written in black ink. The pages are well cut and there is little sign of discolouration considering the age of the book (1941 publication). The page edges are discoloured however. The final fifty or so pages of the book consider emergency legislation and are printed on blue paper.
