The book is undated but appears to be a 1923 edition of this series. It contains an assortment of stories and articles to interest girls, including how to make "Bead Necklaces and Girdles", "Learning to Ski" and "Some Hints on Lawn Tennis". The picture board cover has suffered damage, with several patches scraped down to the brown cardboard, and has other general marks plus some waterstains on the back; spine ends and other edges bumped and chipped; text block edges browned and stained. Inside pages clean with tanned edges although some rear leaves have light marks and waterstains to upper margins. Slight breaks between some leaves but binding is sound. Birthday gift inscription in red ink on the front end paper; former owner's name and address written in pencil on the rear of the frontispiece. Contains four colour plates and numerous b/w illustrations.
