Picture-strips, short stories and picture verses featuring Bom, the little toy drummer-boy, along with some puzzles. Full-colour and two-colour illustrations by R. Paul Hoye and H.W. Felstead.

Red cloth binding with gilt illustration to front cover and gilt lettering to spine; laminated colour illustrated dust-jacket.

Good condition for a second-hand book: large closed tears and heavy creasing to dust-jacket with chipping to spine ends and ends of flap folds and open tear to rear top edge; light bowing to hardcovers, light bumping to cover corners and spine ends, light slanting/twisting to spine; some pages starting to detach with closed tears and creasing to bottom edge, all pages remain intact; gift inscription to title page, light foxing to page edges, light foxing/soiling to some pages, but generally clean internally with clear text and illustrations throughout.

Oxfam Distribution Centre Bournemouth

Here at the B.D.C. we source goods for stores in the Dorset, Wiltshire and Avon area, by house collections and clearances, corporate and personal donations as well as emptying numerous textile and book banks in the area. We have been awarded the "Best National Oxfam On-Line Store" for 2009/10. All of our items have been listed by volunteers who have done a fantastic job, and we are always looking for new volunteers to help us with our on-line operation. We are not open to the public.
