About this item
Grimble was a fairly ordinary boy of about ten with unusual parents ... who were in their middle thirties.
While Grimble was decently organised, his parents were vague, unreliable, unpredictable and seldom got things completely right.
The Grimble family is a refreshingly funny and original creation which started life on BBC TV's Jackanory.
This Puffin book, published by Penguin in 1974 is in good condition thought with yellowing to pages. The paperback cover is faded and with some creases to spine. The black and white illustrations (by Quentin Blake) are free of marks.
A great book for readers of eight and over ... and for collectors.
