Old Broomsticks

£15.49

Product description

The book has red cloth-covered boards and spine. The spine has the book title and the author and publisher names written in black. The book has no sign of bumping to corners or any shelf wear. The endpapers are well-glued to the boards and well-stitched to the spine. The first free endpaper has a dedication to Barbara (presumably a previous owner) written in ink and dated 1952. There is also a modern price label sticker that has become attached to this page. I don't think that this label has anything to do with the book. There is slight fading of the spine and at the top of the covers as a result of sunlight on the exposed part of the book while on a bookshelf. The pages are well-cut and there is no discolouration, although there is some spotting to the page edges. The book has three short stories with several black and white drawings. There are also six full-page colour drawings, two for each story.
