Pookie believes in Santa Claus

£39.99

Product description

"Pookie believes in Santa Claus" tells the story of Pookie, the little rabbit who has been born, through some happy accident of magic, with wings. He lives in an almost idyllic forest world, among wood-folk such as rabbits, mice, squirrels, moles and owls, as well as elves, goblins, pixies and similar creatures of fairy-tale. Written and illustrated (in colour and monochrome) by popular children's author Ivy L. Wallace. The book is undated but based on the ISBN number will have been published in the early 1970s. On the front end paper is a Sunday School presentation label dated 1974. The book cover has light general marks and a small chip near the top front edge; corners and spine ends are slightly bumped. Several inside pages have light brown stains, mainly in the margins; the first story page has a closed tear, approx. 3.5 cm, to the bottom edge. The text block is string-bound and only slightly loose at the top and bottom. An enchanting Christmas story which will delight young children.
