These poems in Scots come with a pronounciation guide and glossary. The style of the illustrations varies from simple line sketches, to shaded pencil drawings, to dramatic scenes with black backgrounds and the subject etched in white. Dustjacket (not price clipped) is torn in several places and has a small piece (approx 3 x 0.5cm) missing on the front near the top, though all text is extant and colour of cover illustration is bright. The book itself is in good condition, pages clean and tight.
