How Stumpf and his wife, the witch Cordelia, are put under a spell by the evil Witch of Zug and how, with the help of Tud, a young Canadian, the tables are turned and the end of the adventure is a happy one. The book is in very good condition, with slight bumping to corners and spine ends. Clean inside, except for small ball-point pen mark on page 21. The cream coloured jacket has yellowed slightly around edges and there is a light watermark at the bottom of the spine and along the bottom of the back. Corners and spine ends have rubbing wear with slight loss, and the front corners and top of the spine have been reinforced inside. Story illustrations are by John Lawrence. This amazing tale, with its moments of real fright and much comedy, will capture readers, of any age, with a delight in the fantastic.
