Decorative beige (probably very faded pale pink?) front boards and spine, with green and violet design.
Five full colour plates, many charming vignettes throughout, in black and white and colour.
Contributors include L.R. Brightwell, Walter de la Mare. A.A. Milne, Eleanor Farjeon, Rose Fyleman, and illustrators include Anne Anderson, Joyce Mercer and Marion Board. A really attractive collection of stories and pictures from the 1920s.

Boards slightly grubby with wear to edges but generally in good condition, contents good with just a little foxing and browning.
Presentation label on pastedown.
