A delightful story of a girl's experience at a new school; she has come from the Continent to finish her education in England at a private girls school.

There is a Sunday school attendance prize sticker on the front end paper reading: 'St James, Cradley, Sunday School. presented to Celia Philpotts for regular attendance and good conduct. R Gillender Rector, Christmas 1937'.

Complete with original dust jacket which has sime mall tears and rubbing wear. The red boards are bright and clean, corners appear slightly bent/curved inwards. The inside pages are in a good clean condition and the binding is sound. Some foxing on edges of pages.
