An adaptation into story form of a children's play of the same name which was very popular in its day. Subtitled "A Good Little Tale About Bad Little People, it tells the story of two children who do not believe in Father Christmas who responds by whisking them away to the Land of the Christmas Stocking where they meet nursery rhyme characters and have many adventures. Cream cloth binding with green lettering on spine, pictorial d/w. Some tanning and marking to outside of boards, page edges a bit descoloured, otherwise book in good clean condition, spine intact. D/w worn at edges, sections missing at top and bottom of spine,white area on back dirty, not price clipped.
