The Silvester Wish

£9.99

Product description

For two brothers, John & Richard, this Silvesterabend (New Year's Eve) marked the beginning of a series of adventures. They are learning to ski: will they gain the Bronze Award at the end of the holiday? Will Stephanie ever find her chamois? What is her father up to? Mary Drewery's typical children's story of the 1960s will hopefully explain all these quandaries and more.
The book is in very good condition, all text clear on clean pages, well illustrated with numerous charming pen and ink illustrations. Although the dust jacket is slightly chipped on the edges it is otherwise in very good condition, delightfully illustrated on the front.
Signed on the title page by the author, it would make a lovely gift for any fan or collector.
