Purnell 1968. Hardback with no DJ. pp 77. 30 x 24 cm approx. There is wear to top and bottom of spine with two splits at the top probably where the book has been pulled out from a shelf, a small bump of the front edge of the front board. There has been a transparent cover to the outside of the boards which has largely disappeared from the front. No marks and good binding.
A history of the dance in all its manifestations, from primitive dances through ballet to modern indigenous folk dances. Beautiful colour illustrations by Betty Maxey.
