Product description

Ladybird book, sixth edition, published in 1960. From Series 413. Small hardback book with dust jacket. The cover is in very good condition, it is beige illustrated in green, the front cover has an illustration the same as the dust jacket, the titles on the spine are also in green. The dust jacket shows some more wear, the top edge is lightly bent and has some rubbing. The hinges along the spine are also rubbed and there are some very minor nibbles and tears along all edges. The inside cover and fep are illustrated in blue on white with characters from the book. Internally the book is clean, bright and tightly bound. The story is told by Muriel Levy (Auntie Muriel of Radio Fame), and illustrated by Ruth Murrell. The text is on the verso pages and the illustrations are on the recto pages. A rare book.
