Thomas the Tank Engine Station Box Collection

£50.00

Product description

An Engine Shed gift box containing all 26 of the original Thomas books in their original format. Small, classic volumes, which will fit perfectly in the hands of Thomas' youngest fans, these are the Thomas tales as originally written by the Reverend W. Awdry. Beginning in 1945, with a new title almost every year, the Reverend wrote 26 books, over 100 stories, about Thomas and all of the engines on Sodor. The individual books are in very good and readable condition with the spines showing little or no wear except for books 13 and 19 which are a little torn at the top of the spine and book 20 which is torn at the bottom of the spine. I should imagine these were the favourites! The gift box is showing signs of wear with sellotape reinforcing some of the corners and the top flap hinge reinforced and sellotaped as well. The right corner of the flap has been torn and taped but the hinge flaps still works, lifting so that the front of the box drops to reveal the books inside.
