London is Stranger Than Fiction

£19.99

Product description

Subtitled as: "A selection of cartoons illustrating fascinating facts about London and its environs specially prepared for the Evening News". The book is paperback with a collection of cartoons shown on the front cover. The front also shows the book title and the author's name, together with the source name (The Evening News) and original price. All of these characters are written in red on a yellow boxed background. The spine also shows the book title in yellow on a red background. The rear cover shows an advert for Lyons coffee. There is significant bumping to the corners which has caused the pages to bend, as the book is a paperback. There is some shelf life to the book. The pages are discoloured including the page edges. The edges where the discolouration is most severe are at the bottom of the book. This is made worse by the heavy foxing at the bottom of the pages. This includes the spine as well. The book mainly contains cartoons although there are various adverts and location maps as well.
