Education in cyberspace, edited by Ray Land and Sian Bayne, 2005,

£9.99

Product description

The use of online learning environments is now widespread, and there is a wealth of literature providing practical advice on how to teach online, develop courses and ensure effective pedagogical practice. What has been frequently overlooked is the insight offered by cyberspace theory, which considers broader social, cultural and theoretical contexts within which new technologies and learning models are situated. This book provides a fresh perspective on current thinking in e-learning. It challenges orthodox assumptions about the role of technology in the teaching and learning of the future, and explores more varied and wider-reaching conceptual frameworks for learning in cyberspace. Featuring the contributions of respected and experienced experts with a wide range of perspectives, Education in Cyberspace will be valued by anyone closely involved in the theory of e-learning and education. Oxfam Shop Cardiff

Our shop is situated in the Heath area of Cardiff, we work out of the Retail premises on Whitchurch Road, where Oxfam has been for over 35 years. Our role online, as with all Oxfam shops is to raise money in order to overcome poverty and suffering around the world including here in Wales. We could not achieve that without precious volunteer support which we are extremely grateful for. We need more of this valuable support and ask,if you live in or around Cardiff, to get in touch on: oxfamshopf5302@oxfam.org.uk. If you are able to spare a morning or afternoon each week with us, that would be fantastic, we offer the opportunity to expand your skills in many areas, work for one of the biggest charitable organisations in the world and importantly, you would be directly helping the poor and needy around the globe.
