When hotshot lawyer Bartholomew Crane is despatched to a lakeside town in northern Ontario with a brief to defend a schoolteacher accused of murdering two teenaged girls, he assumes it will be an open-and-shut case. The girls' bodies have never been found and the Crown's evidence against the teacher is scant. The townspeople, though, remain convinced of the teacher's guilt and the trial quickly deteriorates into nightmare.

Lost Girls is a thriller that catches the reader off-guard at every turn. A single mystery that fractures into many, a story of ghosts both real and imagined and, above all a compulsive novel that marks the impressive debut of the author.

We are a specialist shop nestled in the heart of Jesmond, a lovely residential area of Newcastle Upon Tyne. We opened in July 2010 and have on offer 5,000 books, 2,000 records, CDs and games as well as sheet music, cards and stationery within the shop. Our shop has high ceilings and a nice, bright and airy feel. We are gaining a very good reputation in the Rare and Collectable books and vinyl community, but also do a roaring trade in contemporary fiction and modern non-fiction.
