First printed 1951. A novel following Colonel Paternoster and his friend Major Stroode as the comb England for traitors hiding in the most of unlikely of places.

This copy is a hardback with it's original dust jacket all in good condition. The dust jacket is clean though there is some wear to the corners and a small tear at the head of the spine.The cover itself is made of brown cloth and is undamaged though there are some light stains and minor wear to the corners. There are inscriptions on the paste down as it appears it was once a library copy. The pages themselves are clean and undamaged though there is a little foxing to some of the pages. The binding has weakened and is visible between the pages at some point through the book.

This book is ideal for fans of espionage stories or for collectors of rare books.
