Published circa 1950 by H. Welsford of Ilfracombe. Turquoise card covers, originally priced at 1/6. Four photographs at the front. In good condition apart from slight weakening of the binding on the first page.
Short tales of country folk, A Bit of Gold, Jimmy Innards, A Moonlight Picture Part I, A Moonlight Picture Part II, all by Sarah Pearce, and, The Ghost of the Corner House, by Grace Pearce. Internally clean, light fox spots on the endpapers, discolouration to the gutter between the cover and the first page. The edges of the page block have yellowed and there is light creasing to the covers. The book starts abruptly with the photos, then the title page, it appears to lack a front endpaper. There are 3 blank free endpapers at the rear.
An uncommon little book, the stories are delightful. size:16 x 10.5 cms. 58 pages
