Dusty's Windmill

£25.99

Product description

The book has red cloth-covered boards and spine. The front cover shows the outline of a windmill in black. The spine shows the book title and the author's and publisher's names also in black. There is no sign of bumping to the corners or any shelf wear. The hinges are strong and in good condition. The pages are well-cut. There is slight discolouration of the pages and signs of foxing to the page edges and the few pages at the front and rear of the book. Page 53-54 has evidence of the page corner having been folded over. The frontispiece has a water colour picture of a windmill. There are 17 black and white drawings within the book. The front cover drawing matches the one on page 138. The dust jacket is in good condition having been covered with a combined plastic and paper cover. The front cover of the jacket shows the frontispiece picture as well as the book title and author's name in black. This information plus the publisher's name is shown on the spine as a continuation of the painting. The front fold of the jacket indicates the publisher's logo and the impression number, together with the original price 13/6. There is a small sticker that indicates a later price of 15/-. The rear cover of the jacket has faded a little.
