An early elusive title by Frederick Weatherly (1848-1929) Born in England, Weatherly was a lawyer, author and song writer (He wrote the lyrics to the ballad Danny Boy).

Frederick Warne & Co, Hardcover. Book Condition: Poor. 144 pages. Numerous black and white drawings, many of a comic nature.
Elsie's expedition/adventure takes place on a train ride and descibes the subjects she meets on the journey.
No dust jacket. Green cloth boards with gilt embellishment. Cover/Boards are separated form the pages. (May glue back) - see pics. Inscription inside cover from 1875. First picture of Elsie inside has been coloured in. Middle of book is starting to separate at hinge. Some staining,foxing throughout with the odd tear.

Our warehouse is situated in Winton, Bournemouth and is an online operation. Whilst not open to the public, we are happy to accept donations of saleable books, CD's, DVD's, vinyl, clothing and homeware.

Our online operation is powered by a team of hard-working volunteers (we're always looking for more help), sorting, valuing and listing on our online shop and Amazon.

We also offer books by the yard / metre / foot for set dressing  films, TV, theme pubs, bars and art projects. We can supply all types of books, starting at £8 per metre. We can even theme to your needs by subject, hardback, paperback, colour or date. Obviously the more specific, the more lead time is required. We may be able to offer local delivery.
