First Edition published by Hodder & Stoughton, London in 1934. Book is hard cover without dust wrapper. Binding is blue cloth covered boards with gilt titles to front cover and spine. Binding is in very good condition with slight bumping and rubbing to corners and extremities, otherwise binding is tight with no cracking to hinges. Text block shows ageing to page edges and some foxing to pages, otherwise text is clean throughout. Previous owner's name to front pastedown. Bookseller Inventory 001952
