In this Buchan novel, three successful but bored friends decide to perk up their lives by going into poaching. This is a compact hardback edition of the 1925 novel. It was popular enough to be reprinted fourteen times before 1938 - the date of this edition. It is a worn but sound copy with red endpapers and a dj which is ragged but intact. The top of the cloth spine is worn.
The three challenge their well-to-do highland neighbours that they can poach salmon and return them undiscovered.
